The ideal candidate will enjoy design and working with their hands showing dexterity and having a keen eye for detail. To fulfill potential, good numerical skills would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be friendly, outgoing, reliable and trustworthy with a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude. The position would suit a practical, artistic, good problem solver who has a willingness to understand how things are made and the patience to achieve high standards of work. We offer basic 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday with O/T when required & up to 33* days holiday per year, working in excellent conditions with uniforms provided.
Part of your duties will see you work in all departments involved in the manufacture of GRP (glass reinforced plastic) and composite mouldings shadowing our experienced staff. This is a trainee role and experience is not required as full training will be given. Please note this is a manual position within a manufacturing and engineering composite mouldings company servicing a wide range of industries. You will be able to operate in a clean, safe and responsible manner with regard to other employees and ensure appropriate PPE is utilized at all times. You will be expected to carry out physical duties safely whilst carrying out your activities with some lifting involved.
